Under Stairs Wine Bar
Once an unused closet, the space under the stairs is repurposed as a wine bar, that brings new dimension and activity to a space that was lacking an identity and function.
It also blends into the traveler theme within the living space, given that Italian vineyards were a source of inspiration.
With a deep, custom fit, speckled gray granite countertop, it provides plenty of room to display fine wines, glasses, ice bucket and, of course, a snake plant that can thrive in a shaded corner.
The basket "drawer" serves to provide additional storage as well as a further connection to a natural material.
The modern design of the custom cabinetry mimics the chevron pattern found elsewhere to connect spaces more fluidly and have them feel larger.
